Default Canister filter for 65g +

Looking for a used canister filter in good shape if anyone has anything they want to sell. Otherwise John seems to have them the cheapest new. I have a 65g and would like to over filter in case I get a bigger tank!
    Thanks!

if you are getting one from John, i recommend the Cascade 700 or 1200. Excellent filters. Easy to use, easy to maintain. Took me under 3 minutes to have mine put together and running after i opened the box.
Currently awaiting WC Mobas. Cant wait!!!

How old is the filter? I have been reading a lot of bad reviews on the fluval about leaks, parts breaking and hoses being a pain. Some people were trying to get rid of them for $50. Seems kind of discouraging.

I have had good experiences with the Fluval "04" series. As long as you maintain the filter (as with any) it will last for you. It is all about how well you care for it. Any filter will start to fail if you do not take care of it.

I have not had any problems with the filter, I don't see why someone would unless they don't look after it. And again even if something did break I have tons of spare parts. I'm not sure exactly how old the filter is, but it works perfectly. I'm simply upgrading otherwise I would continue to run this filter until it did break.
