I am considering a change from small fish/community tank to ebjd's.
1. Where can I get good quality ebjd's?
2. How many in a 120 gallon tank?
Thank you.

Aquabid has decent fish. Once in a while a local store will get some decent stock in but you must look them over very carefully as most times they aren't worth the asking price as they are riddled with deformities. Once they reach the 3 inch size they are pretty much beyond any sudden illness. What are the dimensions of your 120 gallon tank. I kept 5 adults in a 100 gallon long tank.
You can view some shots of my EBJD's when I was growing them up here here I miss these fish.

The last supplier that I saw of really awesome EBJD at a +2 inch size (for $25 ea) was Gold Garden in Markham, 2 months ago. These were stellar fish IMO.
BA in Hamilton had some yesterday. They were about 1.5" and the price was $34 with a 20% discount this week.
I saw some in Big Al's Aquarium Services in Kitchener earlier this week, pricing was similar to the Hamilton location.

They seem to be available all over but they are so prone to suddenly getting very sick when under 3 inches in size it's truly ridiculous. If you cannot find sub adults then you may have no choice to get small fish. If you can, run a UV Filter on that tank 24/7 for about 6 months.
