German Blue Rams

Hello, I was wondering how hard it is to take care the German Blue Rams? I currently have:

- 30 Gallon tank
- 2 rainbow fish, 2 powder blue gourami, 2 small angel, 2 orange gourami
- 3 live plants, and dirftwood

One of the sellers at Kitchener's Big Al's told me that you need soft water for blue rams. Can they adapt to hard water?

They can live quite happily in hard water. They need soft water for spawning.
A pair if rams will fit in your 30.

The rams like it warmer than most fish. They do best if the water is in the low to mid eighties.

You should contact jarmilca here on the forum. She has some great success stories and usually has some for sale that have been acclimated to our water conditions AND are spawning!
