    Default Rock Creeping/Climbing Vines?

I have plans for a rock terrace in my 125G tank. I'd like to know if there are underwater creeping/climbing vines like ivy or something that could slowly cover these rocks over time.

If not, will moss attach to rock?

    TIA.

Cam check out Plagiomnium affine. It is a slow growing creeping moss that can take on a vine-like appearance. You can find it on ebay. I have some but not enough to spare. It is VERY SLOW growing; even for a moss

It is similar to HM but each strand of the affine is about 1/4 the diameter of HM. The leaves of the Hm always orient themselves towards the light whereas the affine leaves seems to grow radially no matter what its position is.

It has been in a high light/CO2 tank for about 2 months. It took a month for it to acclimate to the tank without much growth. The next month it has only grown just a tiny bit.

Wow, that's slow. Ok I'll probably get some, but I won't use it for quite what I thought... I've got a new layout coming based on all those suggestions (in the other thread). Thanks.

    Hi Cam,

I have pennywort, I use it as a floating plant, but it will creep out the water and do well on the outside of the tank.
It look like ivy only it has round leaves.
Let me know if you want any???

Thanks Geoff. I'm more interested in something that will creep underwater and act as ground cover and mask the rocks in my tank.

I may take you up on that offer anyways, just not for this purpose. Let me get my new tank running and I'll bug you at a meeting in the new year.
